A final disadvantage to office dating could possibly be jealousy especially if the relationship is "under cover". When you see your office mates flirting with your date, the natural reaction would be bad and why would being in an office environment generate any other reaction than a natural one? With this reaction might come an unnecessary reaction including punishing someone for something that's not work related at all.
