Flirting is great because it develops some kind of sexual appeal, chemistry and it's even flattering and makes the other person feel amazing.

You can tease him a bit, flirt with him, give him just a little attention, but pull away too. So that there is that friction so it's not just you always pleasing him doing whatever he would like.

Your saying yeah I'm thinking about you but simultaneously I'm not. So you're always doing the push pull thing with your ex boyfriend.

Hence it's not necessarily a straight line and always predictable. Unpredictability is key here regarding getting your ex boyfriend back and getting yourself including the friend zone. You would like to have things going on in your life that your ex lover doesn't know about.

You also want to inject spontaneity as well as some unpredictability into the chat. Make things fun and interesting. Don't just speak about the same stuff constantly.

When you do this it is going to make your ex boyfriend rethink about who you are and for what reason you've suddenly changed. You would like to act a bit strange. Don't reveal all that's happened to you in a week to your ex.

Get your ex boyfriend to think what's been happening. Inject some teasing, touching as well as flirting. Touching is really very important. It's the last point I want to make about taking you away from the "friends zone".
